Most reverend mother, the tent you see is the so-called porda (tent in Bengali) where Muslim women meet while waiting their turn. These Muslim women cannot be seen by their husbands, but to tell the truth, if they manage to find an opening, they smile like hell.
In this photo there are sr. Rosangela de Oliveira, sr. Daniela Galaffu and Sr. Adele. They were living in Barreirinha in the state of Amazonas. They were close to home, coming down from the boat called Paradise in a flood period that lasted a few months.

Gudivada School (India) 1968 R.C.M. School Gudivada (Roman Catholic Mission School, can be read on the board). The school of reeds and straw is very dark. So, sr. Serena takes class in the courtyard under the neem tree. We can see the presence of small girls (and not only boys!) in between the school benches.
