What a long awaited and beautiful day in the life of a religious \u2013 perpetual\u00a0 profession day \u2013 which translates \u201cwedding day\u201d with none other than our Lord and Redeemer, Jesus Christ!<\/p>\n
The psalm 45 says: \u201cRadiant they shall enter the palace of the king.\u201d\u00a0And before that:\u00a0\u201cthe king shall desire your beauty\u201d;\u00a0\u201cthe king will fall in love with your beauty\u201d! The psalmist is talking not only of exterior beauty, but of interior beauty.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
And that beauty has been bestowed on five of us on the day of our perpetual profession and on Sr. Celine Arockiasamy on the day of her missionary mandate to the mission of PNG by Jesus Himself. It is the beauty of love that radiates from our hearts. It\u2019s the gift that we received, first, in our families \u2013 from our parents, grandparents, siblings, extended family, and from our friends \u2013 the love we experienced and learned from them. We thank them for the wonderful creation of goodness and beauty that we are today. Our only prayer is we are blessed every day with the joy of the bride who gives all and holds nothing back. Jesus loves us with a love that is unconditional and we are precious in His eyes. May this joy strike deep within and carry us through out our lives. May we always be, in mind, will and heart, the disciple-bride, who follow her Lord wherever He leads.<\/p>\n
