On the occasion of the \u201cReligious Week\u201d, organized annually by our School, the team of our teachers who teach religion organized a “Dinner of the people”.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The purpose<\/strong> was to reflect on the theme of poverty<\/strong> and the disparity between the rich and the poor, in Hong Kong and in the world.<\/p>\n

There were about 80 female students who participated, Catholics and others, and those who do not know them were involved in the preparation of a dinner in which those who were rich could sit at a table and eat in abundance, while those who were poor were offered only one sandwich.<\/p>\n

This moment was also the occasion to start the journey of Lent by making the participants to be more sensitive to the different situations of poverty and marginalization<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
