The aim of the home-families is to give these young people the family environment they could not receive from their families of origin or society. Sr Sandra recounts her activities in the foster homes: &#8220;When they come back from rehabilitation centres or work, some of them work, I listen to them tell me about the fruits of the day, we do some other activities together, have dinner and chat a little before going to sleep. Their receptiveness and simplicity are extraordinary and heart-warming, the way they care and take an interest in others is touching.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"auto\">True wealth does not lie in what one possesses and produces, but in the sharing between brothers and sisters.
