Among the members are 14 Italian, 10 Indian, 3 Papuan, 2 Bangladeshi and 1 Brazilian. This variety strengthens the intercultural character of the community, bringing different perspectives and sensibilities, fundamental to missionary work.<\/p>\n<p>Areas of apostolate include formation and education, some services to the local church, pastoral care to people in need, and services to the General Directorate.<\/p>\n<p>General Direction communities are characterized by their missionary passion and love for the charism, the internationality and interculturality of their members, and their commitment to hospitality and compassion.<\/p>\n<p>There are also some aspects to be improved and some challenges to be faced. Among the main challenges, the infographic highlights the risk of isolation from the local reality, the fear of undertaking new initiatives and the tendency towards individualism, which could undermine the community spirit.<\/p>\n<p>Looking to the future, the community aims <strong>to grow in community discernment<\/strong>, to <strong>improve fraternal life and intercultural dialogue<\/strong>, valuing internal diversity, <strong>to increase sharing with the London community<\/strong> and <strong>to promote re-evangelisation<\/strong>, keeping the community&#8217;s missionary roots alive and opening up new avenues to carry the Christian message.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>There are three communities: the general house, the international novitiate and the London community.
