Deo gratias! With grateful hearts, we raise our song of thanksgiving to the Lord who has journeyed with us through these twenty-five years of consecrated life. What we celebrate today is not an achievement of our own, but the unfolding of God\u2019s love and fidelity in our lives.<\/p>\n
We, Sr. Nomita Rozario, Sr. Shephali Khalko, and Sr. Shanty Joseph, were uprooted from Bangladesh and India and lovingly transplanted into the MSI garden of Papua New Guinea. Here, in this land so rich in culture and beauty, our vocation has taken root and blossomed. Among its people, we discovered a new home and a mission that continues to fill us with joy: to embody Christ\u2019s compassion through healing, education, and pastoral care.<\/p>\n
At the heart of our Jubilee celebration, His Excellency Archbishop Maurizio Bravi, Apostolic Nuncio to Papua New Guinea and the Solomon Islands, offered us words that remain engraved in our hearts:<\/p>\n
\u201cGod calls whom He wills, and vocation is always a personal call to serve in the Church. To be religious means to put on the values of Christ. A jubilee is not merely a remembrance of the past, but a renewed call for the future \u2014 an invitation to live with gratitude, faith, and fidelity. Your vocation is not your achievement but God\u2019s gift, faithfully nurtured by His grace.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
His message spoke deeply to our experience and renewed in us the desire to walk forward with greater trust.<\/p>\n
Looking back, our story is woven with both trials and blessings. Together, we have sailed across turbulent seas, climbed rugged mountains, and faced moments of danger \u2014 even life threats and encounters with sea pirates. Yet in every storm, God\u2019s hand upheld us. Alongside hardships came abundant joys: the radiant smiles of children, the gratitude of the sick, the trust of simple villagers, and the beauty of a mission that continually renews our hope. These encounters transformed us, teaching us simplicity, resilience, and the joy of living close to the poor.<\/p>\n
Through our ministries, we have offered our service \u2014 but in truth, we have received far more. The people of Papua New Guinea welcomed us, shared their lives with us, and revealed the face of Christ in their struggles and faith. Their love and trust became the fertile soil in which our vocation deepened and grew stronger.<\/p>\n
As we stand at this milestone, our hearts overflow with gratitude for the God who has carried us on His wings through every season of life. This Jubilee is not an ending, but a new beginning \u2014 a renewed \u201cYes\u201d to follow Christ more closely, to serve Him more generously, and to witness His love more joyfully.<\/p>\n
With renewed zeal, we look ahead with confidence that the One who called, chose, and sent us will continue to guide our steps. May our lives remain a testimony that grace is enough, and that God\u2019s love never fails.<\/p>\n
