<\/b>The 7th Great Mission Gathering (GGM 2026), promoted by Fiat Mission, was held at Thrissur, Kerala, hosted by the Jerusalem Retreat Centre. Founded by fr. Ceetly together with a group of lay collaborators, Fiat Mission continues to present itself as an evangelisation movement capable of awakening in the faithful a sense of their own missionary vocation, following the example of Mary’s \u00abfiat\u00bb: \u00abBe it done unto me according to thy word\u00bb.<\/span><\/p>\n

For the seventh consecutive year, the Missionary Sisters of the Immaculate took part in the Gathering, bringing the witness of the Congregation’s three Indian provinces. At the missionary stall, prepared with the contribution of communities from across the country, there were moments of prayer, hand-made missionary rosaries, exhibitions and direct testimonies, addressed in particular to children, young people and families: children were offered concrete ways of becoming \u00ablittle apostles\u00bb, young people were given points for witnessing to Christ within society, and parents were led to reflect on the family as a place of mission.<\/span><\/p>\n

Among the voices heard during the Gathering, that of sr. Namitha left a particular mark. As a vibrant member of Jesus Youth, Sr. Namitha actively participated in evangelization and youth ministry. Yet, deep within her heart, God was inviting her to something greater. Through prayer, discernment, and openness to divine guidance, she embraced consecrated life in the Missionary Sisters of the Immaculate (MSI) Congregation. Leaving behind personal plans and familiar comforts, she chose to follow Christ without reservations.<\/span><\/p>\n

Today, she serves in Indonesia, far from her homeland, culture, and language. Her missionary life is marked by sacrifice, trust, and joyful service. During the 7th Great Gathering of Missions (GGM 2026), held at Jerusalem Retreat Centre, Thrissur, Kerala, her sharing deeply touched the hearts of countless listeners. As she narrated the realities, challenges, and blessings of mission life, many sat in silence, captivated by the beauty of a vocation lived wholeheartedly for the Gospel.<\/span><\/p>\n

Her testimony revealed a profound truth: when Christ becomes one’s greatest treasure, no distance seems too far, no sacrifice too costly, and no challenge too difficult. Through her witness, many young people encountered a living example of what it means to surrender everything for the Kingdom of God. Her story became a powerful reminder that missionary discipleship is not merely an activity but a way of life rooted in love for Jesus.<\/span><\/p>\n

For the Missionary Sisters of the Immaculate, participation in GGM has been a grace-filled journey throughout all seven editions. This year provided another precious opportunity to stand together as one apostolic family and share the beauty of missionary life with thousands of visitors.<\/span><\/p>\n

At the MSI mission stall, creativity met evangelization. Various displays, interactive presentations, missionary rosaries, testimonies, and faith-sharing initiatives communicated a simple yet transformative message: every baptized person is called to be a missionary. Children discovered practical ways to become little apostles. Young adults explored how they could witness to Christ within society. Parents reflected on their responsibility to build missionary families rooted in prayer and service.<\/span><\/p>\n

From morning until late evening, streams of visitors continued to arrive. Despite the physical demands, an extraordinary joy sustained every volunteer. Grace renewed strength, conversations became encounters, and ordinary moments turned into opportunities for proclamation. Countless individuals stopped, listened, questioned, reflected, and left with renewed enthusiasm for their Christian vocation.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\t\t
