1953: the mission in Bangladesh began
It was 7 in the morning on November 15, 1953, when the first three Missionaries of the Immaculate arrived in what was then Pakistan, later Bangladesh, to open a new missionary presence.
Sr. Annunciata, sr. Giuditta and sr. Germana were welcomed by His Eminence Monsignor Giuseppe Obert, Bishop of Dinajpur.
The three missionaries wrote that day:“We are happy, now we are finally here…”
