Sr. Roberta Pignone, originally from Monza, is a doctor in the Khulna hospital in Bangladesh, where she cares for leprosy and HIV patients. For her, sharing life with them means being balm for their wounds, just as the Lord was balm for the wounds of her life. Sr. Roberta says: “I wish to care for them with such joy, because my heart has been reborn thanks to my relationship with Jesus and this leads me to share and to want to be a sign of hope for them”.
