We can very well imagine what might have been the enthusiasm during the first months of 1948 for the preparation of the FIRST DEPARTURE – INDIA.
Finally, on 28 was the first missionary mandate and on 30 the first six missionaries left Italy towards INDIA. It was the first departure of a long, uninterrupted series that had taken and continues to take missionaries to different parts of the world.
This video tried to take us to those first moments that our six pioneers lived from the day they received their missionary mandate until they arrived GUDIVADA- our first community in INDIA.
