Sr Anna Marini, Missionary Sisters of the Immaculate (PIME) in Guinea-Bissau, a small country in western costal area of Africa. In this video she narrates the revelatory encounters she had with God.
It is the little ones, the simple and the weak who proclaim God the Creator. It is women who bear witness to the Gospel, because they are able to bear great pains, they are able to be strong in their efforts, they load enormous weights on themselves and they do all this by saying: “If God wills…”. The encounters with little ones, with the women, with the culture of Guinea have taught Anna the art of patience which values knowing how to wait.
This video was prepared for the exhibition #MISSIOMILANO (from the 29th of September to 2nd of October 2022) set up during the missionary festival. “MISSIO MILANO” took place in the Basilica of Santo Stefano Maggiore (in the parish of ethnic communities of the diocese of Milan) alongside the presentation of multiple voices and testimonies from the mission, it pointed out three particular stories: an invitation so that the meeting can in turn generate a story.
