What happens, when 18 junior sisters, each with unique stories and shared dreams come together in one place? The answer unfolds in a symphony of faith, friendship and inspiration. “Our gathering, is not just a meeting; but a spiritual reunion,” these words resonated deeply with 18 of us, from four organisms of India, who had gathered, for our Annual Juniors meeting held from 14 to 24 May 2024, at Nirmala Dhyana Sadan, Hyderabad.
Nirmala Dhyana Sadan, is a serene and spacious location, away from the hustle and bustle of life, promised to be particularly special for us. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality, setting for us the tone that this meeting would be an inspiring and transformative. The days ahead were planned meticulously, with a balanced mixture of spiritual activities, group works and recreational moments, designed to foster a sense of personal growth and community well-being.
The gathering was not just about escaping the daily routine, but about embracing a deeper connection with ourselves. The purpose was to meet our needs and to enhance our onward journey. The orientation focused on the Gospel passage from Mark 13:1-9 – The parable of the Sower. The ambient was set for self-introspection and the invitation was to be like the good soil-receptive, understanding and committed to God’s Word to produce copious fruits of His Kingdom.
Engaging ourselves in reflection and sharing, about our past journey as individuals and as a community was of great importance to build a stronger sense of purpose and direction in our life. Various achievements & milestones, challenges & growth and memorable moments shared among us contributed to our personal and community growth. Through testimonies and perhaps though anecdotes, we were inspired to live our consecrated lives meaningfully.
Different sessions deepened our faith, revived our spirits, resonated with our life and inspired us to cross-check our journey and set it right. Spiritual and prayerful moments, community and fellowship bonds, were strengthened. We found ourselves of one heart and mind, working together for the spread of love, joy and peace amongst us.
Looking forward, we outline our future vision and goals for personal and communal growth. May our commitment be blessed with fruitfulness in the years to come. We conclude the journey made, with grateful hearts, remembering that every step, every challenge, every struggle, and every triumph in our lives as a gift from God that shaped us into who we are.
