Sr. Lorenza Radini, originally from Milan, Italy, is currently a missionary in Bangladesh. She is now in Mymensingh where the Missionaries of the Immaculate have a hostel for 50 girls and offer them support for study and personal growth.
In this video Sr Lorenza recounts the joyful encounters that have marked her life and her missionary vocation. The first was the trip to India, where the encounter with missionaries who dedicated their lives to caring for leprosy patients with love and sacrifice without measure, made her want to live like them, in the joyful gift of life, in hiddenness and among the least.
To found one’s life in the true rock that is Jesus, was the call Sr. Lorenza wanted to answer and now, in Bangladesh, she wishes to embrace the richness of the mission and the challenges that confront her daily: to embrace a new way of thinking and relating with others, to learn a new way of eating, dancing and singing… Above all, her heart is full of gratitude and she discovers every day a rare joy in serving the Lord.
This video was prepared for the Festival of Mission (Festival della Missione) held in Milan in 2022.
