Sr. Ratnakumari Mallampalli and Sr. Alphonsa Thalari are seen pronouncing their perpetual Vows on 12 June 2022, at Vimala Niketan (Provincial house) Siliguri. The Solemn Eucharistic celebration was led by most Rev. Clement Tirkey, the Bishop of Jalpaiguri Diocese along with seven other priests.
OUR VOW FORMULA
“Called by God to follow Jesus, the Apostle of the Father, Sower and Seed, sharing in the evangelizing mission of the Church, I, place my entire life at the service of the Kingdom, so that the Gospel may reach to the ends of the earth.
I entrust myself with all my heart to this family, so that, living fraternal communion and with passion for the proclamation of the Kingdom, I may bear witness, with the power of the Holy Spirit, to the gratuitous and universal love of God. May Mary Immaculate, Queen of the Apostles, preserve me in fidelity and in joy.”
At the time of her Perpetual Profession, the Sister receives a ring to symbolize her lasting covenant with God and her espousal to Christ.
The Perpetual Profession marks the beginning of Sr. Ratnakumari Mallampalli and Sr. Alphonsa Thalari’s total commitment to follow in the footsteps of Christ through a life of Apostolic obedience, Consecrated chastity and Evangelical poverty, as a Missionary Sister of the Immaculate.
