Sr. Lorena Brambilla served at Mary’s Home centre for foreign women, especially Filipinas, in Hong Kong. It is a centre that gives refuge and support to girls in economic and social difficulty, who see their dignity sometimes trampled on and undervalued. She visited them once a week and this helped her to bond with them, listen to their stories and prepare activities for them to do together. The time spent at the centre helped Sr Lorena to cultivate friendships with these women and enabled mutual enrichment towards paths of peace and hope.
