In 2002 the first Papuan Missionaries of the Immaculate
It is festive among the Missionaries of the Immaculate in Papua New Guinea. The first group of Papuan sisters made their religious profession and after the celebration on 11 February, the newly professed Julia Adinawae, Sr Genevive Augustine and Sr Basilia Logasae travelled from Watuluma to Alotau, where the delegation house is located. Next to Sr Basilia were Sr Bernadette Hembrom (from Bangladesh) and Sr Pauline FMI, in blue habit, missionary in Africa. She is Sr. Julia’s cousin.
