Sr. Lorena Brambilla and Sr. Sandra Covini, Missionary Sisters of the Immaculate in Hong Kong extend their service as volunteers at Mary’s Home, a center for hospitality to the foreign women, who are mostly domestic helpers from
Philippines. The center is under the direction of the diocesan pastoral center of the Philippines, inaugurated only two years ago. During the pandemic, affected by COVID-19, the domestic helpers lost the place of work as well as a place to live and these were welcomed in this center.
Sr. Lorena and Sr. Sandra narrate their lived experience during the weekly visit to these young women in economic and social difficulty.
