In September 2018 we held the XI General Chapter. An elective Chapter that had as its theme “prophetic communities that proclaim the Gospel in the peripheries of the world”. We have all been involved in various ways in the preparation of the Chapter. The same spirit continues to animate the communities spread throughout the world through the study of the Chapter Acts.
The orientations of the Chapter, which will accompany us in the next six years, are concrete, they want to find space and be put into practice in the life and mission of the different realities of our Congregation.
We, therefore, left Rome to animate the assemblies in all the organizations. In Brazil, in Africa, in India, in Bangladesh, in Hong Kong and each of us has the “mission” to transmit the Spirit of the Chapter, to animate the sisters in the light of the Revised Constitutions and to present the project of the Institute for the next six years .
In continuous dialogue and with the participation of all we will try to favor in the drafting of the project of each province, delegation and communities.
As members of one body, each one with her function and specificity, in a style of synodality, will try to trace a common journey, but at the same time diversified, which will lead us to live ever greater the fidelity to our Charism and our missionary spirituality .
In the assemblies that have been already held we perceived the enthusiasm and the desire for the collaboration: this reinforces our hope.
We will commit ourselves to live the missionary holiness together and to grow up to be “prophetic communities that proclaim in the peripheries of the world”!
