The annual Feast of Gratitude took place on Sunday 26 May 2024 in our community of Villa Boschetto in Monza.
Every year we thank the Lord for the gift of our families, benefactors, acquaintances and friends who support us in a thousand ways and support our missionary activities around the world. This year the day was dedicated to young people, who were invited to feel protagonists of the mission together with us.
The Holy Mass was presided over by Fr. Ivan Straface, a young PIME missionary father who is in charge of missionary animation at the PIME Centre in Milan. Fr. Luca Bolelli, Fr. Gianfranco Corti, Fr. Carlo Dotti and Fr. Santosh concelebrated.
The theme ‘Young people connected to the Gospel: a network of hope for the world’ punctuated the day. Some young people, who participate in PIME’s missionary animation proposals, shared their experience of faith, songs and dances from all over the world were interspersed among the testimonies.
A musical instrument making workshop involved the children present at the celebration in the afternoon. The day ended with a lottery draw.
