On the occasion of the Solemnity of Pentecost 2025, the General Leader of the Missionary Sisters of the Immaculate, Sr. Antonella Tovaglieri, sent out the traditional circular letter to the MsI sisters and lay people, announcing the new missionary destinations for this year.
Sr. Antonella reflects on the pontificate of Pope Francis, which ended unexpectedly after the Easter blessing, and on the election of the new Pope Leo XIV, whose first appeal was for peace: “a disarming and disarming, humble peace, which comes from God”. In this context of ecclesial renewal, Sr Antonella continued, the Church is called to be “united, missionary, a builder of bridges, a sign of unity and communion”.
