Missionary life, to be fecund for good, must be modelled on the Eucharistic life of Jesus in the Holy Tabernacle.

I have found near the Tabernacle the strength I needed. I felt in prayer and surrender to God a new impulse, a deep desire for not leaving a stone unturned.

The fervour of a missionary's life, his regular, knowledgeable, industrious, untiring activity, the unalterable joy of his life and his perseverance in his work, even in the midst of hardships, travails and difficulties, are always the result of a life of faith

Jesus in the Holy Eucharist, that is the secret of our perseverance in our vocation. He gave Himself, He gives Himself to the missionary wherever he goes, wherever he is, so as not to leave him alone and without comfort He shares his poverty, his loneliness...
