Missionary life, to be fecund for good, must be modelled on the Eucharistic life of Jesus in the Holy Tabernacle.
Jesus in the Holy Eucharist, that is the secret of our perseverance in our vocation. Missionary! A mysterious word which had the magical power of dispelling every uncertainty, of awakening better hopes.
We are missionaries and as such must be ready for anything to contribute to the salvation of souls and the coming of the Kingdom of God on earth.
It is necessary to sanctify ourselves; the farther we go on the way of holiness, the greater will be the good we will be able to do among our brothers, even only by example and prayer.

The excavations for the foundations of buildings are filled up with building materials; those of the Works of God must be filled with daily sacrifices accepted and accomplished with love.
