Milan, early 1960es.
Waiting for the departure towards their missions, some sisters are sowing and embroidering for the vestments or in order to earn something to help the financial situation of the house.
Other sisters are doing sing practice for the liturgy.
And, finally, some are studying nursing in preparation for the mission. In the pictures below, sr. Damiana Tansini (later missionary in India and Papua New Guinea), sr. Emanuela Baronio (later superior general) e sr. Fausta Gadda (later missionary in Hong Kong and superior of Italy) study at the Niguarda Hospital for their preparation as professional nurses.
