75 years of grace in India. “The living passion to proclaim God’s Kingdom to all peoples,” makes us missionaries’ ad gentes, ad extra and ad vitam. Urged by this grace of the Charism, 75 years ago, Sr. Antonia Pisoni, Sr. Paola Barlassina, Sr. Ida Moiana, Sr. Clementina Fico, Sr. Federica Cavenago and Sr. Teresina Galimberti, left Italy and arrived at Gudivada, in Andhra Pradesh our first community in India. These pioneers with their undaunted labour, unquenchable zeal, ardent faith and great spirit of sacrifice laid a strong foundation for our presence in India. In course of time, India was blessed to receive 36 Italian missionaries and the legacy is still continued by the presence of Sr. Bertilla Capra and Sr. Lucia Pala. Everything comes from God’s gratuitous initiative. Our mission in India is growing and the missionaries from India are serving in five continents of the world.
